She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Arnette Comer, Sr. and Florence Elizabeth Pittendreigh Comer; her brother Edward A. Comer, Jr.; and her great-nephew Morgan Bradley Whiteley. She is survived by: her brothers, Gordon L. Comer (Mary Jane) of Winston-Salem, NC and John W. Comer (Candi); her sister-in-law Charlotte Comer of Dallas, TX; and her siblings' children, Lisa Whiteley, Brad Comer, Mary Leslie English, Carrie Phillips, Blake Comer, Caroline Escobar, Sarah Comer and Michael Comer. She is also survived by Many great nieces and nephews and cousins.
