She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Manuel Maria and Carmen Santa Maria; her husband John P. Canisales; and her children, John S. Canisales (Bernice), Rudy Canisales, Lydia Canisales, Sylvia Moreno and Imelda Abril (John). She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren.
