With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genivieve Gonyea Gardner (Phoenix, Arizona), who passed away on February 3, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James G. Gardner; her parents, John and Genevieve; her former husband Harold P. Gonyea; her stepfather Pete Henderson of Livonia; her sister Gwendolyn Lynch; and also Leslie Gardner.
She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Hyland, Veronica Fred, Anita Williams, John Clement, James Clement and Clarence Clement; her stepdaughter Denise Gonyea Durak (Gary) of Valparaiso, Indiana; her son Guy Gonyea; her stepdaughters, Pamela Clark, Debra Alcala and Valora Abdelaziz; her grandchildren, Michael Durak, Nancy Zakutansky, Mohamed, Abraham Abdelaziz and Doohan Alcala; her stepgrandchildren, Gabriella, Moses, Roki, Marley, Amira, Jax Abdelaziz, Xander and Olivia Alcala; and her friend Barbara Sickles. She is also survived by children, and adored by their grand children and great grandchildren.
