He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Miguel Velasquez and Ruperta Velasquez; his children, Joel, James, Mark and Eva; and his siblings, Aurora Dominguez, Erlinda Marquez, Mary Fuentes, Teresa Velasquez and David Velasquez. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
