He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Santoro and Louise Santoro (Occhiuzzi); and his siblings, Helen Nitka, Grace Poteste, Fran Kichty, Patricia James and Richard.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Coffer; his sons, Jim and Jeff (Christie); his grandchildren, Serena, Jeffrey (Annie), Nicole, Sierra Lopez (Alex) and James; his great grandchild Evie; and his sister Virginia Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
