It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Anne DiVerde-Nushawg (Phoenix, Arizona), who passed away on November 3, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Melita L DiVerde (Anderson) and Bartholomew DiVerde; her husband Michael Nushawg; her children, Kate Roundy (Purple) of Phoenix and Jesse Billimack (Karlin Lamberto) of Pittsburgh; her stepchildren, Anneke Hilvert (Michael) of Missoula and Micah Nushawg (Aisha Gantz) of Boulder; her grandchildren, Cassie, Tessa Baumgarth, Owen, Eli Billimack, Magnolia and Azalea Hilvert; and her siblings, David DiVerde (Marlene), Paul DiVerde, Diane Olson (Dale), Niki Whitman (Tom) and Debra Storm (David). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hansen Mortuary Chapel (8314 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Arizona Humane Society.
