He was predeceased by: his wife Lucille. He is survived by: his son Bob Dochterman; his daughter-in-law Kendra; his grandchildren, Logan and Olivia; his daughter Karen Dochterman Hamilton; his son-in-law Eric; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Lucy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Nelson Funeral Home (820 W Talcott Rd, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A prayer will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrews Lutheran Church (260 N Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Acacia Park Cemetery (7800 W Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60706).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association or to Pancreatic Cancer Research, causes that were meaningful to Seth and his family.
