He is survived by: his parents, Jon Vlaming and Barbara Vlaming; his sister Kiarra Vlaming; his grandparents, David, Elizabeth Vlaming of Santa Fe, Paul and Rosalee Rose of Gooding, Idaho; and his aunts and uncles, Michael (Paula Vlaming), Greg Vlaming of Lewis, Colorado, Patrick (Carrie Vlaming), Casey Rose of Boise, Idaho and Richard (Ann Paulson).
In lieu of flowers, the family intends to initiate a legacy memorial in Ty's name that acknowledges scholastic, athletic and character excellence in the community.
