It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Calles Martell of Phoenix, Arizona, born in Los Angeles, California, who passed away on June 25, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her fiancé Edward Young; her parents, Exiquio Calles and Adela Calles; and her siblings, Frank Calles, Adeline Martindale, Ed Calles Jr., Tony Calles and Cecilia "Ruby" Peake.

She is survived by: her children, Albert Martell (Peggy), Michelle Ragan (David), Marta Sabatino (Ernest) and Frederick Martell. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
