It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winnie Lee Nuñez (Phoenix, Arizona), born in Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Sneed and Mary Leauna Sneed; her brother Ernest Jr. (Bud); and her daughter-in-law Bethany. She is survived by: her husband Arthur Nunez; her children, Arthur Ernest and Leauna Christensen (Cissy); her grandchildren, Mary Leauna, Keegan, Crystal, Konner and Keira; and her siblings, Gertha Shipman, James Sneed (Jimbo), Herbert Sneed, Hillard Sneed, Maurice Sneed (Piney) and Carie Lou Parker.
