He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garcia and Guadalupe Garcia; his daughter Peda Madril; and his brothers, Ray and Erasmo Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Jennie Garcia; his children, Carmen Lara (David), Leopoldo Garcia Jr. (Esther) and Yolanda Garcia; and his siblings, Mark Garcia (Patsy), Ricardo Garcia (Olivia), Stella Coronado and Irma Gonzales (Jose). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, niece, nephews.
