John C. Ginakes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John C. Ginakes of Scottsdale, Arizona, born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away on September 27, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Polly; his children, TeAnn Philippis (Michael), Elena Atkins and Tino Ginakes (Kristen); his grandchildren, Kayla (Evan), Ashten, Ernie, Timmy, Sophia, Nicole, John and Christopher; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Camden, Rhyden and Paxden; his sister Anastasia Brakken (Harvey); and his siblings-in-law, Nick Speliopoulos (Carol) and Angie Speliopoulos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions private funeral services will be held for immediate family only at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in his memory to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1973 E. Maryland Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85016.
