He is survived by: his wife Mary Catherine Burkhart Denton; his pets, Harley and Jackson; his brothers, Gregory C. Denton, Douglas P. Denton and Bradley L. Denton (Sherrilee); his nephews, Colby, Cody and Chad; and his stepmother Connie Mae VerHoef Denton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phoenix Rescue Mission.org in memory of Steven Charles Denton.
