He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Johnson Cox of San Diego, CA and Emmett Cox of Dayton, OH. He is survived by: his wife Gretchen; his sons, Jordan Cox (Michelle) of Moorpark, CA, Dakota Cox of Albuquerque, NM and Chandler Cox of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and his siblings, Emmett "Buddy" Cox of Fairborn, OH, Dr. Joy Logan of Honolulu, HI and Lee Ann Brooks of Ashland, KY.
