It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George R. McAlpin (Show Low, Arizona), who passed away on December 3, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Virgil McAlpin and Marie McAlpin (McClelland); his former wife Joan Allan (Stecker) of Manitowoc; and his children, Robert McAlpin, Richard McAlpin (Optometric Doctor) and Jodie Knox (RN) of North Carolina. He was also cherished by five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
