He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth of Tempe; his children, Shevawn Bensik of Beulah, Yvonne Ashworth of North Grafton, Kim Jones of Scotts Valley, Karin Hemesath of Overgaard, Kai Risley of San Mateo and James Robert Ashworth III of Mesa, Arizona.; and his pet Leia. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
