He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anil Chaudhuri and Sulata Chaudhuri (Sarbadhikari); his significant other Jean Chaudhuri; his sons, Joydev Chaudhuri (Paul), Jonodev Chaudhuri (Jon), Lance Sands, Jon, Kung Fu and Sifu Augustine Fong; his siblings, Hemotpaul Chaudhuri and Maolibika Chaudhuri; his niece Smeeta Basu; his son Paul Chaudhuri; his grandchildren, Samuel Chaudhuri, Lila Chaudhuri, Ross Chaudhuri, Kanuux Chaudhuri and Hamati Chaudhuri; Richinda, Lance, Gopa and Opu. He was also cherished by children and grandchildren, their dogs.
