With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard Grant Whitney of Tempe, Arizona, born in Bennington, Vermont, who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Whitney and John Whitney; his son Sean (Susan); his grandson Wayne; and his siblings, Jim, John, Joe, Mary and Kathleen.

He is survived by: his former spouse Vermonter; his sons, Greg (Cindy) and Steve (Judy); his sibling's children, Pinkie, Candace, Kim, Jan, Tanya, Jill, Lisa, Joreen and Geoff; and his wife Judy.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Noble Hospice and Palliative Care, 2222 S. Dobson Rd., Mesa, AZ 85202.
