He was predeceased by: his father Charles Patrick Cavaretta; and his father-in-law Ralph Rettig. He is survived by: his wife Marcy Rettig Cavaretta; his sons, Joey and Nicholas Cavaretta; his mother Teresa Cavaretta; his siblings, Joseph Cavaretta, Laura Cavaretta, Teresa Luterbach (Ray), Ellyn Black (Don) and Mary Dockens (Chris); his siblings' children, Michelle Luterbach, Shilo Dockens, Sophia, Sienna Cavaretta, Anne Marie Rogers, Ryan Luterbach, Tim, Tyler Black and Christopher Dockens; his mother-in-law Anne Rettig; and his sister-in-law Karen Rogers (Mark).
