He is survived by: his mother Millie Whitinger (Prochaska) of Elma, IA; his close friend Matt Day of Tucson, AZ; his sister Tammy Cochran (Lee) of Newton, IA; and his sibling's children, Shelbey Cochran of Newton and Jesse Cochran of Iowa City, IA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.
