He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesus Valenzuela and Pabla C. Valenzuela; and his siblings, Jesus, Juan Nepomuceno, Aurelio, Benjamin, Apolonio, Guadalupe Esparza, Romelia Caraveo and Martha Lopez.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine Valenzuela; his daughters, Beatrice Valenzuela, Bernice Valenzuela and Belinda Valenzuela; his grandchildren, Tony Osuna (Vivian), Jasmine Osuna (Angel), Juliane Perez, Sebastian Valenzuela-Douglas (Arielle), Fabian Valenzuela-Douglas (Tabitha), Gregory Gonzales and Jeremiah Gonzales; and his great grandchildren, Tony, Zulay, Nathan, Giovanni, Kamaiya Osuna, Anahiz Miranda and Amara Valenzuela. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
