He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Ramirez and Amalia Ramirez; his siblings, Alfredo, Alicia, Ernest, Alex and Bobby; and his son Steve.

He is survived by: his wife Josefina; his sons, Louie, Santiago "Jimmy", Carlos and Armando; and his brothers, Mike, Peter and Manny. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
