He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Russell and Pearl Russell (Dunworth); and his siblings, Doyle, Droze, John Russell, Rosella "Sis" Shimchock, Jean Mays and Dorothy "Dot" Wall.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Russell (Johnson); his children, Lisa Zamora (George), Donny Russell (Christine), Amanda Russell and Andrea Russell (Chris Holt); and his stepchildren, Randy Gibson (Gabriel Lujan) and Carey Gaona (John). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
