He is survived by: his significant other Kenneth Dunn of Greenville, SC; his brothers, Alberto Cortes of Raleigh, NC and Herman Cortez; his sister-in-law Leslie Cortez of Largo, FL.; his niece Pilar Fonseca; and his nephews, Julian Cortes, Luis Cortes of New York City, Marcus Cortez, Alexi Cortez and Christopher Cortes of Florida. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and special friends.
