Sancken and Eleanor Sancken (Mund); his siblings, Irma Schuler (Richard), Paul Sancken (Edith) and Almita Harms (Herman); his wife Maxine Gleeson; his former wife Bernadette Ahlness; his children, Pamela Thomson (late David) of Tucson, AZ, Philip Sancken (Barbara) of Seattle, WA and Walter Sancken (Kathy) of Saunemin, IL; his grandchildren, Matthew Thomson (Linda Capotosto), Lauren Sancken, Caroline Sancken (Jon Roach), Katherine McBride (Peter), Laura Sancken (Ben Spalter), Alison Sancken and Bradley Sancken; and his great grandchildren, David Thomson and George McBride.
In lieu of flowers, memorials any be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Cullom.
