He was predeceased by: his mother Susana Arias. He is survived by: his father Angel Preciado; his siblings, Carolina Preciado, Dalila Preciado and Abelardo Preciado; his siblings' children, Armando Garcia, Xander Mendoza, Benjamin Mendoza, Naila Garcia and Zara Preciado; and his grandparents, Graciela Arias, Leticia Garcia and Francisco Preciado.
One notable project was his contribution to the eco-system at Manzo Elementary School, where he worked tirelessly on creating a turtle habitat alongside a chicken coop.
