He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ahti Kari and Lorrain Kari (Stauber); his brother Richard (Dick); his sister-in-law Cordelia Kari (Cookie) of Proctor; his wife Lydia Duron-Kari; his children, Shelly Vanneste (Craig) of Proctor, MN and John Kari (Mary) of Kona, HI; his stepchildren, Leana Smith (Wesley), Maria Hilling and Joshua Hilling of Las Vegas, NV; and his grandchildren, Myah, Jacob Kari, Lily Ann and Emma Jo Vanneste.
