He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl H. Staab and Helen C. Metzger Staab; and his siblings, William, James, Richard Staab, Helen Sullivan (Joseph Sullivan) and Dorothy Staab.
He is survived by: his former wife Judith Anne Poteet; his children, Anne Barber (Dave) of Tucson, AZ, Beth Hemann (Tony) of Highland, IL, John Staab (Donna Reid) of Lake Tahoe, NV, Christian Staab (Patricia Rabin) of Los Angeles, CA and Peter Staab (Ellen) of Tucson, AZ; his brother Dr. Paul Staab (Wanda Phillips) of New Orleans, LA; his sisters-in-law, Nancy Staab, Betty Staab and Stella Staab; and his wife Judy. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren and many treasured nieces, nephews and cousins.
