He is survived by: his wife Sue Mitchell; his children, Jeff Mitchell (Jody) and Amy Serrano (Tony); his grandchildren, Ryan, Jaime, Patrick and Sean; his mother Lois Mitchell; his brother Joe Mitchell; and his sister-in-law Mary Kay Mitchell. He is also survived by his father, brother, grandparents, and great grandparents.

Donations to Casa de Laz Luz in Tucson can be made in Jon's name.
