He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Gertrudis Duran Duran and Guadalupe Portugal Osejo. He is survived by: his wife Maria Jesus; his daughters, Maria Urias (Jacob Urias) and Rubicela Knieter (Edward Knieter); his grandchildren, Tyler Portugal, Savanah Urias, Jacob Urias and Mikaela Knieter; and his sister Rosita Valencia. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
