He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Louise; his parents, Josefa and Rafael; and his brothers, Hector and Ralph Jr..
He is survived by: his sons, Joey and Christopher; his stepdaughter Cathy Alameda; his siblings, Aida Montano, Tosca Sanchez and Tizoc; and his grandchildren, Julien Alameda (Taylor Alameda), Daniella Alameda, Chelsea Higuera and Mark Higuera. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
