She was predeceased by : her husband Luis Rafael Montoya Sr.; her son Andrew Carrera; and her grandchildren, Tonya Barns, Celena Rene Naranjo and Luis Rafael Montoya III.

She is survived by : her children, Diana Torres (John), Hortencia Lopez, Frank Lopez (Betty), Luis Montoya Jr. (Lupe) and Betty Naranjo. She is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, forty-three and a half great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
