He was predeceased by: his grandmother Alicia Alvarado; his cousin Luis Moreno; and his uncle Pedro Romo. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra, Luis Contreras and Ivann Villanueva; his daughters, Cecilia Contreras and Angel Contreras; his cousins, Karla, Lora, Judith Andrade, Rocio Duran, Ramon, Myrna Tapia, Carlos, Daniel and Monica Moreno; and his aunts and uncles, Carmen, Ramon Tapia, Alejandrina and Carlos Moreno.
