He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynaldo Lucero and Ramona Lucero; and his siblings, Margaret Ramirez, Mary Duarte, Connie Rodriguez, Johnny Lucero and Larry Lucero.

He is survived by: his wife Rosie O. Lucero; his children, Roxanne L. Soto (Henry U. Soto, Jr), Reynaldo A. Lucero, Rosie L. Donnelly (Keith Donnelly) and Regina L. Quinlan; and his sister-in-law Helen Lucero. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
