He is survived by: his children, Peter "Dino" Cooper-Lara (John) and Kathleen Meinschock (Steve); his grandchildren, Aaron Damrow and Julia Damrow; his stepgrandchildren, Vanessa Nickel (Cory) and Lindsey Gehm (Justin); and his brothers, Don Lara (Cynthia) and Mike Lara. He is also survived by cousins, and nieces and nephews.
