It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alex Begay Sr. of Winslow, Arizona, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emily Begay and Milton Begay; and his siblings, Elisa Yazzie and David Gishie. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Segina-Begay; his children, Alex Begay, Jr., Jonathan Begay and Melissa Begaye-Lester; and his siblings, Marilyn Smith, Helen Begay, Dale Begay and Alfred Begay. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
