He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Joseph Edward and Katherine Bergbower; his son Michael; his son-in-law Heinz Grunwald; his children, Mike, Greg and Debra; his daughter-in-law Leslie Bergbower; his grandchildren, Amanda Severied (Jeremy), Doug Bergbower, Sean Bergbower, Andrea Bergbower and Susan Hickmott (Dylan); his stepgrandchildren, Michael Grunwald and Shauna Santiago; his great grandchildren, Kaden Bergbower, Tanner Hickmott and Valerie Severeid; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Avery, Brooklyn and Savannah.

Dad was an avid supporter of the Phoenix Zoo and made generous donations to assist their continued success.
