He was predeceased by: his parents, Donaciano Sandoval and Rosaura Garcia Sandoval; and his siblings, Tom Sandoval of Albuquerque, NM, Virginio Sandoval (Wilkie), Lena Gollete and Margaret Ulibarri.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Sandoval; his children, Julie Ewald (Mike) and Michael Sandoval (Sarah); his grandchildren, Mason Ewald, Madison Ewald, Makayla Ewald, Blake Sandoval and Faith Sandoval; and his siblings, Petra Ribera (Eddie) of Barstow, CA, Pete Garcia (Grace) of Pueblo, CO, Raymond Sandoval (Pauline) of Las Vegas, NV and Tony Sandoval (Wanda) of San Rafael, NM. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
