He was predeceased by: his father Elmo Ellingford; his former wife Irene Kay Ellingford; his daughter Kim Marie Ellingford; his brother Dan Ellingford; and his mother Mary Wayman Ellingford.
He is survived by: his wife Ginger Ellingford; his children, Kirk Ellingford (Laurie), Clay Ellingford (Lisa) and Debbie Messer; and his stepchildren, Kandi Rosales, Dusty Lym, Rusty Lym (Trudy) and Toni Albrecht (David). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to an Evanston community charity in his name.
