Harold L. Evans Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold L. Evans (Anderson, California), born in Rising Star, Texas, who passed away on June 13, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Farquhar; his son-in-law Butch Hill; his great grandchildren, Aaron Hill and Andy Hill; and his grandchild Michael.
He is survived by: his wife Lida Evans; his children-in-law, David Evans, Annie Evans, Doug Evans, Darlene Evans, Mark Evans, Leigh Evans and Debra Hill; and also, Janet Cook and Charles Cook. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial contribution in his name be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 295 Hill Street, Anderson, TX 77830 or a charity of your choice.
