He is survived by: his former wife Lee; his wife Dana Gilbertson; his daughter Erin Aviles (Mark); his grandsons, Griffin and Maxfield Aviles; his siblings, Linda Byers (Charlie), Lori Gilbertson and Lee Gilbertson (Gretchen); and his stepdaughter Sylvia Doane Stephenson (Michael).
