It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deveney Bixler Totten (Lafayette, California), who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Deveney Bixler may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Bixler and Virginia Bixler. She is survived by : her husband Larry; her children, Vanessa Ryan (Glen), Jenny and Jeff (Susie); her grandsons, Connor and William Ryan; her sister Julie; and her caregiver Heidi.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Lafayette Park (3287 Mount Diablo Blvd, Lafayette, CA 94549).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a gift to Hospice of the East Bay (Bruns House) or the Alzheimer's Association.
