It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Irene Schneider (Arcata, California), who passed away on January 9, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Grace Harlow; her son Stuart Edwin Schneider; her husband Stuart George Schneider; and her son-in-law Frank Gaethle. She is survived by : her sister Pauline; her children, Edie, Kathy, Eric, Tom, Anita Ellen Gaethle (Schneider), Kathryn Eloise Wysong (Schneider) and Edith Luise Wohland (Schneider); her children-in-law, Klaus Wohland and Arlene Schneider (Larson); her close friends, Heather, Jason Beam, Nicole, Troy Block, Greg Gaethle, Monique, Kevin, Julie Gaethle, Rick, Rachida Gaethle, Cara Wysong Orusso, Jesse Orusso, Michele Schneider, Lynde, Mark Windbigler, Genevieve Wohland, Sean, Amanda Wohland and Michael Wysong; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Whysper, Jakob, Ivan, Jaxon, Addie, Molly Beam, Trey, Taylor Block, Jessica Gaethle, Shelby, Trent, Uriah Gaethle, Zachery, Joshua Gaethle, Roman, Ava Orusso, Samuel, Havalah, Eliza Jane, Aidah, Nitzah Windbigler, Zane, Sydney and Hunter Wohland; her daughter-in-law Julie Gaethle; and also Kay Brundage.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Northern California Division of Sierra Pacific Furbabies in honor of Irene's love for animals.
