He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Ramos and Julia Veles; his daughter Selena Ramos-Thomas; and his brother Pedro Gordon Ramos (Shorty). He is survived by : his close friend Nici Filteau; his children, Jamie Ramos, Edward Ramos II, Dena Cedeno and Angela Ramos-Lecue; his siblings, Vincent Ortiz, Gary Ortiz, Clifford Ortiz and Antonia Ortiz; and his wife Betty Ramos. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
