He is survived by: his wife Sherri of Atascadero; his daughter Morgan White; his son-in-law Jonathan White; his grandchildren, Huxley and Lachlan; and his son Mason Livingston of Oakland.

Donations in his memory can be made to the Richard Livingston Scholarship through the Los Medanos College Foundation.
