We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2022, at the age of 84, Virginia Odene (Holmes) Butts (Atwater, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Fred Holmes and Irene Holmes; her children, Tim of Merced, Slater III (Patricia) of Sandy, Utah, Rochell Jibby (Bill) of San Jose and Roxanne Fiatoa of Winton California; her sister Jean Varner (Holmes) of Winton, California.; and her husband Slater Jr.. She was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; 11 great- grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to A Woman's Place or Merced Gospel Mission.
