He was predeceased by: his wife Sue; his parents, Lito Martinez and Emma Martinez; and his brothers-in-law, John Westergren and Don Benart.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric and Mark; his grandchildren, Taylor, Bailey, Kristen, Walter, Megan and Daniel; his siblings, Ike and Jeanie Benart; and his siblings-in-law, Frank, Pat and Teresa Westergren.
