She is survived by: her parents, Elizabeth Garcia and Francisco Melendez; her significant other Hermes Castro; her children, Brian Castro, Ulises Castro, Azrael Castro and Valery Castro; and her siblings, Yolanda Cordova, Aldo Hinojosa and Carlos Melendez.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grace Assembly of God (2800 Larson Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93304). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the San Clemente Mission Parish (1305 Water St, Bakersfield, CA 93305).
