He was predeceased by: his parents, Nural Coffman and Lacie Coffman; and his brothers, Jesse and Ivan Coffman. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his sister Mayevern Casey; and his children, Marty, Mitzie, April and Jeffrey. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
