He was predeceased by: his significant other Manuela Hiwahiwa Alohanani Sugars; his parents, Art Sugars and Barbara Sugars; and his brother Robert Sugars. He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Sugars and Emily Tuupo; his son-in-law Tupo Tuupo; and his grandchildren, Tupo "Kai" Tuupo and Kela Healani Tuupo.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Presbyterian Church (1106 Alameda de las Pulgas, San Carlos, CA 94070).
